ORIGINAL APERITIF FROM 20 JULY 1969
On July 20, 1969, the Apollo 11 space mission took man to the Moon. It was a dream come true, an emotion that transcended all boundaries. At that moment, over 300,000 km away, at the Cafè Pirola in Varese, I was born, the original Apollo 11, the aperitif-liqueur that carries, in its taste and color, the uniqueness and positivity of that event that made history.
The moon is here. Enjoy it!

Are you ready to come to the moon?

I have a top secret recipe, an alchemy of ingredients crafted by master distillers that give life to my electrifying and refined taste.

The pink glass in my hands is a ritual that has been renewed for half a century to celebrate the small and large conquests of life. I was born to celebrate and I have never stopped doing so.

A truly out of this world aperitif!

Edwin Aldrin aka “Buzz”

In my historic “spaceship” glass, I traveled in the hands of memorable characters of the Italian Dolce Vita, from Ugo Tognazzi to Ornella Vanoni, from Count Agusta to the writer Piero Chiara.

Until 1997, when Edwin Aldrin, known as “Buzz”, a member of the Apollo 11 crew, officially christened me during a visit to the Cafè Pirola.

Today

Today I have a surprise for you

Here I am. I was born to party and I never stopped doing it.

“Toast to your moon every day, do it with the people you care about the most, because, if you look hard, you will discover that even today you have conquered a small or large piece of the moon. And if it hasn't happened, don't stop dreaming because it will happen soon”.
